Restaurant Stories Span Fresno, Central Coast, America
Bulle, a fine-dining restaurant in northwest Fresno, transformed a former Chase Bank into a dramatic, windowless dining room with an open kitchen and seasonal California cuisine with French-inspired touches. Owners Tom and Davita Miller aim to make the restaurant both an upscale destination and approachable, serving dishes such as prime steak, a Wagyu burger, Iberico ham toast and a creamy potato preparation, alongside creative cocktails. Fresno’s food scene also has ties to California’s Central Coast, including businesses founded in the region and restaurants linked to local owners, while a Nipomo breakfast spot’s unusual exterior was built by a Fresno-connected theme-park attraction designer.
