Restaurant Weeks Highlight Local Flavors Across Regions

Several 2026 food events are highlighting local restaurants and regional flavors. Hattiesburg Restaurant Week runs Oct. 11–17, with 45 restaurants serving creative dishes inspired by the theme “On A Roll” and showcasing an industry that supports thousands of local jobs. Forks Township is launching its first Restaurant Week on the same dates, while a Baja culinary week brings together Mexican and California chefs for cooking demonstrations and garden- and seafood-focused dishes; Chesapeake is also promoting a Restaurant Week featuring local flavors and special deals.
