Richmond Man Charged After Allegedly Taping Wife
Terry Ward, 64, was arrested after Richmond police responded to a domestic-disturbance call and found his wife reporting that she had been taped to a basement chair for about 30 to 45 minutes. Officers documented marks and adhesive residue on her arms, and a criminal complaint says Ward acknowledged restraining her. Ward faces felony abduction and misdemeanor assault charges involving a family member. Reports have said he restrained her so he could watch football, but police have not confirmed that alleged motive.
