Grand Forks and Gibraltar plan road closures for sewer repairs

Belmont Road in Grand Forks will be closed to through traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 22 and 23 while crews clean and inspect storm sewers between the South Fifth Street roundabout and Eighth Avenue South. South Fifth Street and Fourth Avenue South will remain open across Belmont Road, but other cross streets will be closed; local drivers can reach properties from either end of the work zone. Separately, Line Wall Road will be closed to southbound traffic between Cathedral Square and Convent Ramp for sewer repairs, with bus diversions and traffic guidance in place.
