Road disruptions reported across four U.S. cities

In Mankato, the Augusta Drive–Premier Drive intersection is scheduled to close Friday for about two weeks for sanitary sewer manhole replacement, with neighborhood access maintained by a detour. In Park Forest, the Miami Street–Shabbona Drive intersection closed Oct. 9 for storm sewer work connected to a water main project. In Miami Beach, two southbound lanes near 69th Street and Abbott Avenue are closed for emergency public works repairs; drivers are advised to expect delays and use Indian Creek Drive as an alternate route. In McAllen, Shary Road on Expressway 83 reopened Saturday evening after being closed for a traffic investigation.
