Rusev Returns at Hawaii WWE Event After Injury

Rusev returned to the ring at WWE’s Oct. 16 live event in Honolulu, his first match since suffering an injury during a bout with Je’Von Evans on July 27. He faced Joe Hendry and lost. Rusev’s wife, CJ Perry, said he was medically cleared in September and explained that during the July match his arms went numb; despite the pain, he finished the contest before seeking medical attention. His return was not televised, and WWE has not announced when he will compete on television again.
