Sabres Captain Dahlin Day-to-Day With Injury

Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin sustained an upper-body injury during Monday’s 5-3 win over Florida and left in the second period. Coach Lindy Ruff initially listed him as day to day, and Dahlin did not travel with Buffalo for the start of its road trip. He has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against Toronto and is considered 50/50 to return Saturday in Montreal. Buffalo recalled defenseman Dennis Gilbert and placed Matt Grzelcyk on injured reserve as it adjusts its blue line.
