Salem Woman Cited After Sideswiping School Bus
A 66-year-old Salem woman was cited after police said her white sedan drove onto a sidewalk and sideswiped a Salem-Keizer school bus near Pine Street NE and Myrtle Avenue NE on Oct. 1, then left the scene. Police contacted her at home two days later and cited her for reckless driving and failing to perform a driver's duties after property damage. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing; it was not immediately clear whether students were on the bus.
