Samsung India Policy Chief Rajiv Aggarwal Resigns After Four Years

Rajiv Aggarwal, Samsung India’s head of public affairs and ESG, has resigned after nearly four years and is serving his final week at the company. The reason for his departure was not disclosed. Aggarwal, a former Indian government official who previously worked at Uber and Meta, managed Samsung’s relationship with Indian authorities. His exit comes as Samsung and other smartphone makers face pressure over proposed state-app pre-installation requirements and as Samsung challenges an Indian e-waste recycling policy in court.
