San Diego Police Probe Suspected Halloween Mushroom Gummies

Parents in San Diego’s Ocean Beach neighborhood say their children picked up gummies from a porch while trick-or-treating; the packaging was labeled as containing 5 grams of psilocybin. The parents removed the items from their children’s bags and reported the incident to police. The San Diego Police Department is investigating, but has not confirmed what the gummies contained or who left them outside. A homeowner disputed the parents’ account and denied that the gummies belonged to his household.
