SBI Opens First Texas Branch, Expands US Network

State Bank of India has opened an SBIC Bank branch in Frisco, Texas, marking its subsidiary’s first U.S. location outside California and increasing its U.S. branch network from seven to eight. The branch will provide deposits, commercial lending, international remittances and specialized services for nonresident Indians, serving customers and businesses in the Dallas area. SBI says the expansion will strengthen its presence in a key market and support financial ties between India and the United States.
