Scaleway Plans AI Computing Hub in Copenhagen and Swedish Supercomputer

Scaleway plans to expand AI-computing capacity in northern Europe with a Copenhagen site using Nvidia HGX B300 systems and a separate Swedish supercomputer powered by AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs. The company says the projects will give European businesses more access to high-performance AI computing under the EU’s regulatory framework; it cited Copenhagen’s technology sector, low-carbon electricity and cool climate as reasons for choosing the city. Scaleway has not disclosed the Swedish supercomputer’s capacity or GPU count. More broadly, Nvidia describes a Nordic build-out spanning cloud infrastructure, supercomputing and industrial AI, including a Swedish consortium’s Sferical One system, though many deployment figures and performance claims come from the companies involved.
