Scaramucci has some advice for Zacharia
Katie Zacharia's tenure as White House press secretary lasted five days. On Friday a White House official confirmed to the Daily Mail she was transitioning out. Anthony Scaramucci, communications director for 11 days in 2017, posted on X: Records are made to be broken. But I take no pleasure in other people's pain. He also said she would realize the Universe did her a major favor. Her first official day was Monday, Columbus Day, replacing Karoline Leavitt. Tuesday's debut briefing ran 14 minutes; she took questions from three outlets, including the Daily Mail, before leaving, citing Trump's helicopter departure. She told Jack Posobiec her materials were not finalized until 8 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. briefing. The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday she failed the California bar exam. On Thursday Sean Hannity asked why she did not say she went to Pepperdine law school, took a different path, and took the bar once and did not pass it. Friday, after Fox & Friends, Trump left the Oval Office without her and told reporters he had said she did not have to continue and that if he were her he would reconsider. TMZ called the exit a firing; the official said transitioning out. Joe Scarborough joked, Mooch, we hardly knew ye. Her next role was not reported.
Where do you stand?
