Sea Limited is planning an initial public offering for Monee, its financial services unit, which operates across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Brazil and offers payments, credit and banking services. Founder Forrest Li said a public listing could give the business more resources and room to grow. The company also plans to launch Sea Cloud, an enterprise platform built around artificial intelligence. The plans were outlined in an internal memo reviewed by Reuters; Sea did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
