Seahawks Lose 32-29 After Four Turnovers
Seattle’s 32-29 loss to San Francisco exposed problems on both sides of the ball: Sam Darnold threw two interceptions, the Seahawks lost two fumbles that became 49ers touchdowns, and cornerback Josh Jobe struggled in coverage. Coach Mike Macdonald said the team needs to play more efficiently and take better care of the ball, with little time to address the issues before its next game. Seattle’s rookie class has also been hampered by injuries, leaving few first-year players contributing, while the running back group is depleted and fans have called for a trade. Jonathan Taylor has emerged as a popular target, but his new two-year, $44 million deal with Indianapolis could make a move difficult; Jobe’s poor outing may also put his starting role under scrutiny as Trevon Diggs joins the roster.
