Securities Class Actions Filed Against York, AppLovin

Investors have filed securities class actions against York Space Systems, alleging the company failed to disclose that its satellite mission and payload software was not fully functional before launch, putting Space Development Agency contracts at risk and making upbeat public statements misleading. A related lawsuit covers buyers in or traceable to York’s January 2026 IPO and investors who bought shares from Jan. 29 through May 11, 2026; it also alleges the company misrepresented its readiness to secure and fulfill SDA contracts. Another action names six incoming directors and 11 underwriting banks over alleged omissions in the IPO registration statement. York’s IPO sold about 18.5 million shares at $34 each, and one notice said the stock had fallen more than 70% to $9.33; the lead-plaintiff deadline cited in that notice was Oct. 30, 2026. These are allegations in pending litigation, not findings of liability.
