SELCO Opens Voting for $45,000 Classroom Makeovers

SELCO Community Credit Union is inviting Oregonians to vote Nov. 1–7 on nine finalists in its third annual Regional Classroom Makeover program. Three educators—one from each of three Oregon regions—will receive up to $15,000 apiece to improve school learning spaces, with projects spanning gardens, inclusive recreation, sensory supports and career or arts education. The program is part of SELCO Steps Up, the credit union’s community initiative supporting students and educators; it has provided nearly $90,000 to schools since 2024.
