Sesko Missing From Manchester United Squad Against Fulham
Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko missed the squad for Sunday’s Premier League match at Fulham after not traveling with the team, with reports suggesting a recurrence of the shin injury that disrupted his preseason. Sesko had started the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Brighton but has made only limited starts this season, and his absence leaves Matheus Cunha to lead the attack. United manager Michael Carrick restored much of the lineup used against Manchester City, while Luke Shaw returned from injury and new signing Carlos Baleba was named among the substitutes for a potential debut. The setback comes as United seek to end a two-match losing streak and improve on a start of just one win in four league matches, while Fulham remain without a Premier League victory.
