Sharks rally past Canucks 3-2 after third-period surge
The San Jose Sharks rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-2, scoring three unanswered goals in the third period. Will Smith sparked the comeback with two goals, and Mason Marchment scored the winner just 11 seconds after Smith tied the game. Vancouver had controlled much of the first two periods, with Drew O’Connor and Liam Öhgren scoring, but struggled to maintain its play after San Jose’s first goal. The win ended San Jose’s two-game losing streak, while the league-worst Canucks continued a difficult stretch with just one victory in their past 12 games.
