Shield-winning Nashville faces Red Bulls in finale

Nashville SC, the Eastern Conference’s Supporters’ Shield-winning team, hosts Red Bull New York at GEODIS Park in the clubs’ final regular-season stretch, with Nashville set to celebrate its title after the match. New York is seeking to strengthen its playoff position after three losses in its last five games, including a recent 3-2 defeat to New England, though teenager Adri Mehmeti made club history with two assists in that match and Julian Hall continued his productive season. The Red Bulls have historically troubled Nashville, keeping it scoreless in seven of their nine meetings, and recent defensive numbers suggest they could pose a challenge despite Nashville’s strong form and home advantage. The match is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on Apple TV and Red Bulls Radio.
