Short Interest Jumps Across Four OTC-Listed Companies

Short interest increased sharply in September across four companies, though the percentage gains started from very small August totals. Voyageur Pharmaceuticals had the largest reported increase, rising 79,900% to 20,000 shares short, while Tullow Oil’s short interest rose 12,400% to 625 shares. Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries reported a 2,466.7% increase to 308 shares, and Ansell’s rose 1,200% to 182 shares. Despite the jumps, reported days-to-cover ratios remained low, ranging from 0.0 for Tullow to 2.5 for Motor Oil.
