Some Gen Z Trump Voters Report Regret
Commentary argues that Gen Z’s technological fluency and ambition make personal values and everyday integrity especially important in a culture shaped by social media and instant gratification. A discussion of Gen Z consumers says they gravitate toward brands that feel authentic, offer a sense of discovery and exclusivity, and align with their ideals. Another article urges more walking, warning that modern work and transportation encourage sedentary habits and describing walking as beneficial to physical and mental health. Politically, some Gen Z voters who backed President Trump in 2024 say they regret their choice, citing unmet expectations and rising costs; in a small focus group, most gave his performance a D or F. In contrast to stereotypes of young people as fickle, a mortgage survey found Gen Z buyers were more likely than older generations to say they would remain with a trusted lender, and relatively few said they would always choose the lowest rate.
