SpaceX reportedly offers 20% raises for data-center assignments

SpaceX is offering employees a 20% pay premium, plus potential project-success bonuses and covered travel costs, to volunteer for six-week assignments supporting its Colossus 1 and 2 data center and supercomputer buildout in Memphis, Tennessee, and Southaven, Mississippi. The company is seeking employees in good performance standing to help lead teams and remove obstacles; management experience is not required, though construction experience is a plus. The temporary “surge” assignments are intended to speed expansion of computing capacity, and the program could continue beyond its planned end date.
