Kewan Lacy, Deuce Alexander exit tied Ole Miss-Louisville game with injuries

Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy left Sunday night’s season opener against Louisville after suffering a lower-body injury, described in reports as affecting his thigh, leg or knee. Before exiting, Lacy had 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, plus four catches for 19 yards; he briefly returned earlier after appearing to have the wind knocked out of him. Backup Makhi Frazier handled most of the running-back duties while Lacy was sidelined, and his status for upcoming games remains unclear.
