Brock Bowers Expected to Miss Games After Knee Surgery
Las Vegas Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers underwent a meniscus trim in Dallas on Tuesday after being injured during training camp. He is expected to miss at least the season opener against the Miami Dolphins and possibly one or two games, putting his availability for Week 2 against the Chargers in doubt. Michael Mayer is expected to assume the primary tight end role while Bowers is sidelined, with Ian Thomas also available. The injury is especially concerning given Bowers’ history of knee problems, including a PCL injury that limited him to 12 games last season. Bowers’ absence removes a key target from an already unsettled Raiders passing attack and is a significant setback for fantasy football managers.
