Lincoln Kienholz throws for 332 yards in Louisville's 59-13 win
No. 24 Louisville routed Villanova 59-13 for its first win of the season behind quarterback Lincoln Kienholz, who threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns and added two rushing scores. Kienholz completed 16 of 21 passes and became the first Louisville quarterback to record back-to-back 300-yard passing games in his first two career starts. Wide receiver Lawayne McCoy continued his strong start, catching three passes for 102 yards and a touchdown, including a 61-yard scoring reception from Kienholz. Louisville amassed 635 yards of offense, while Villanova managed 253, though the Cardinals still committed seven penalties and surrendered a 65-yard touchdown pass. Louisville will remain home for its ACC opener against SMU.
