Verstappen Starts Last and Overtakes All 100 Karters in 35 Minutes

Max Verstappen won Red Bull’s “Max vs 100” karting challenge at Silverstone, starting last among 101 drivers and overtaking the entire field in roughly 35 minutes. He passed 64 competitors on the opening lap, despite a pileup that triggered a full-course caution, then climbed from 37th to the top six within six laps and finished after about 14 laps—well short of the planned 30-lap distance. The field included content creators, athletes, journalists, fans and other public figures, while Verstappen’s rivals had early access to a shortcut and he faced additional restrictions. Verstappen called the victory his best yet and described the event as his first win of the year.
