Joe Buck Agrees to $108M ESPN Extension

Joe Buck has agreed to a six-year ESPN contract extension worth roughly $108 million, raising his annual salary from $15 million to about $18 million and keeping him as the voice of Monday Night Football through at least 2031. The deal will cover ESPN’s first Super Bowl and its next scheduled Super Bowl in 2031. Buck’s longtime partner, Troy Aikman, remains unsigned, with his five-year, $90 million contract expiring after the season’s Super Bowl. The pair are in their 25th season together, making them the longest-running NFL broadcast partnership. The extension could position Buck to return to baseball broadcasting if ESPN wins World Series rights beginning in 2029, although no such provision is reportedly included in the contract.
