Miles Out as Fever, Lynx Clash for Seeding

The Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx meet Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 8:10 p.m. ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in a pivotal matchup with WNBA playoff-seeding implications, televised on ESPN. Minnesota entered at 32-10 with a chance to clinch the No. 1 seed, while Indiana was 27-14 and fighting to remain in the race for a top-four position. Lynx starting point guard, leading scorer and assists leader Olivia Miles was ruled out about 90 minutes before the game because of a left calf injury, despite participating in morning shootaround and testing the injury with trainers. Caitlin Clark was listed as probable with a back issue after averaging 25.3 points and 9.3 assists since the All-Star break. The teams are scheduled to meet again Thursday in the regular-season finale.
