The Connecticut Sun ended their 24-season run in the state with a 95-81 win over the Toronto Tempo in the franchise’s farewell game at Mohegan Sun Arena. Ashlon Jackson scored 18 points, Aaliyah Edwards added 16, and Raegan Beers contributed 17 points and eight rebounds as Connecticut snapped a six-game losing streak. The Sun finished the 2026 season 11-33 and missed the playoffs. Players, staff and fans marked the team’s history, which included four WNBA Finals appearances. The franchise will relocate to Houston for the 2027 season and become the Comets, reviving the team that won the league’s first four championships.
