Bears Beat Eagles 27-7 as Hurts Returns

The Chicago Bears beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-7 in Week 3, giving Philadelphia a second straight underwhelming offensive performance despite its 2-1 start. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was briefly removed for a concussion evaluation after a hard sideline hit by Bears linebacker D’Marco Jackson, who was penalized for unnecessary roughness; Hurts was cleared to return and scored a rushing touchdown. Hurts finished with 153 passing yards, no passing touchdowns and an interception, while backup Andy Dalton threw an end-zone interception during a promising drive in Hurts’s absence. Former Eagle T.J. Edwards also intercepted Hurts after listening to Philadelphia’s play call. Chicago won despite playing without starting quarterback Caleb Williams.
