Fever Beat Aces, Tie Series at 1-1
The Indiana Fever beat the Las Vegas Aces 99-89 in Game 2, tying their first-round playoff series at 1-1 and forcing a decisive Game 3 in Las Vegas. Caitlin Clark led Indiana with 27 points and a franchise-record 15 assists. She became the first player in WNBA postseason history to record a points-assists double-double in a half, after tallying 14 points and 11 assists before halftime, and set a playoff record for assists in a half. Indiana overcame an early deficit with an advantage inside and on the offensive glass, aided by strong contributions from Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston. The Aces mounted late runs, but the Fever held on after Clark fouled out with under three minutes remaining.
