Packers Beat Buccaneers 17-14, Improve to 2-2

Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes as the Green Bay Packers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14, improving to 2-2 while Tampa Bay fell to 0-4. Green Bay intercepted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels twice in his first NFL start, turning the takeaways into 10 points, but nearly gave the game away with a fumble inside Tampa Bay’s 5-yard line and a late interception. The Buccaneers failed to capitalize on either chance to come back. The win came amid Green Bay’s offensive struggles and concerns about protecting Love; the Packers had added veteran guard Kevin Zeitler to reinforce their injury-hit offensive line. Coach Matt LaFleur said the team needs to improve its red-zone execution and ball security.
