Predators Return Murray, Recall Pinchuk

The Nashville Predators recalled goaltender Matt Murray from AHL Milwaukee on Oct. 3, with backup Justus Annunen questionable after missing practice for undisclosed reasons. Murray backed up Juuse Saros in Nashville’s 2-1 win over Dallas and was returned to Milwaukee on Sunday as forward Vitali Pinchuk was recalled. The move may indicate Annunen will be available for Tuesday’s game at Toronto. Pinchuk, 24, is coming off a standout KHL season with 31 goals and 66 points for Dinamo Minsk. Murray has yet to appear for Nashville; he played four NHL games with Dallas and posted a 2.83 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 47 AHL games last season.
