Chiefs-Raiders Draw Record 28.4 Million Viewers
The Chiefs’ 30-27 win over the Raiders drew 28.448 million viewers in CBS’s late-afternoon window, making it the NFL’s most-watched broadcast of the 2026 season and the largest Week 4 audience in NFL broadcast history. The audience included some markets that saw the 49ers-Broncos game, but the window was headlined by the first Chiefs-Raiders meeting in which both teams entered undefeated at 3-0. The close game, which saw Las Vegas lead into the fourth quarter before Kansas City rallied, came amid the Raiders’ surprising start and helped drive CBS’s season-to-date NFL viewership average 9% above last year’s pace.
