Vikings Elevate Odell Beckham Ahead of Saints Game

The Minnesota Vikings elevated veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from their practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, but had not determined whether he would be active. His availability and potential role depend partly on the status of Justin Jefferson, who has an ankle injury, and Jordan Addison, who has a hamstring injury; both were listed as questionable. Beckham joined the undefeated 4-0 Vikings after a brief, unproductive return to the New York Giants and could provide depth at wide receiver. Coach Kevin O’Connell, Beckham’s former offensive coordinator with the Rams, helped persuade him to choose Minnesota through personal outreach.
