PWHL Expansion Teams Unveil City-Inspired Inaugural Jerseys

The PWHL’s four expansion teams—Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose—unveiled their inaugural home and away jerseys ahead of the 2026-27 season. All feature the city name diagonally across the chest; official team names and logos are expected before the season, with branded uniforms planned for 2027-28. The designs draw on local identity: Detroit uses black, silver, white and red; Hamilton pairs gold with burnt orange, deep red and cream; Las Vegas combines desert-inspired green, gold and navy; and San Jose features mandarin orange and sky blue. The teams are set to make their on-ice debuts during Opening Weekend on Dec. 5-6, with Las Vegas hosting Detroit on Dec. 6. Detroit’s first home game is scheduled for Dec. 12, and Hamilton’s home debut is set for Dec. 13.
