Will Shipley Expected to Miss Multiple Weeks
Eagles running back Will Shipley suffered a partial tear of his plantar fascia in Philadelphia’s 19-17 loss to Jacksonville and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Making his second career start with Saquon Barkley sidelined by a hamstring injury and Tank Bigsby on injured reserve, Shipley left in the second quarter after 13 snaps; he scored a touchdown before exiting. He finished with five carries for six yards and one catch for seven yards. Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele took over, with Pierce playing a career-high 48 snaps, as Philadelphia managed 22 rushing yards on 18 carries while dealing with the depleted backfield and offensive line.
