Bears Undecided on Falcons Game Starting Quarterback
After the Bears’ 31-7 loss to the Packers, coach Ben Johnson said Chicago has not decided who will start against Atlanta if Caleb Williams remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Tyson Bagent was benched after throwing two interceptions, while Case Keenum also struggled after entering in the fourth quarter; Johnson said the team is evaluating both backups and has not committed to either. Williams, who has missed three straight games, is “close” to returning, but his status for the Falcons game remains uncertain.
