Franklin Says Burden Quit After Packers’ Win
The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears 31-7 in Week 5, holding Chicago to 246 yards and a season-low offensive performance while forcing multiple turnovers. The Bears played without injured quarterback Caleb Williams. After Bears receiver Luther Burden III said before the game that Chicago wanted to make Green Bay quit, Packers linebacker Zaire Franklin accused him of quitting; Burden responded on social media that Franklin should stop “clout chasing” him. Burden led Chicago with four catches for 47 yards, while Franklin recorded nine tackles and Packers receiver Christian Watson had 143 yards and two touchdowns. The win moved Green Bay to 3-2, level with Chicago and two games behind the undefeated Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. The rivals are scheduled to meet again on Christmas Day.
