Roman Wilson Expected to Miss Several Weeks
Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson is expected to miss a couple of weeks after injuring a finger late in the first half of Pittsburgh’s Week 5 win over Indianapolis. He was ruled out for the rest of the game and is seeking a second opinion. Ben Skowronek also left with a calf or leg injury, while Michael Pittman Jr. is on injured reserve with a foot injury, leaving Pittsburgh short on experienced receivers. DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard are the leading healthy options, with Kaden Wetjen and practice-squad call-up Brandon Smith also available. As the Steelers consider adding receiver depth, Bernard could take on a larger role.
