Kraken Beat Winless Flyers 3-2 in Shootout

The Philadelphia Flyers’ comeback fell short in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Seattle Kraken, extending Philadelphia’s winless start to the season. Seattle’s Bobby McMann scored in regulation and converted the decisive shootout attempt, while Ville Ottavainen also scored; Christian Dvorak and Trevor Zegras supplied the Flyers’ goals. After trailing through much of the game, Philadelphia rallied in the third period to force overtime but could not complete the comeback. The result continued a difficult stretch for the Flyers, who entered the matchup amid a lengthy losing streak, while Seattle arrived on a strong road trip.
