Texans, Cowboys Report Week 6 Absences
The Texans’ first Week 6 practice report listed four nonparticipants, including David Montgomery and Jalen Pitre, whose injuries could keep them out against Jacksonville in London; Henry To'oTo'o began his return window after a shoulder injury. The Cowboys are preparing to face Green Bay amid illness and a depleted secondary: cornerbacks DaRon Bland and Caelen Carson were sent home sick, while Joey Porter Jr. returned after missing the Buccaneers game with an illness. Ameer Speed and Shavon Revel Jr. were held out with sore knees, and Cobie Durant and safety P.J. Locke continued rehabilitation for injuries. Receiver Jonathan Mingo had also been affected by illness. Coach Brian Schottenheimer said he was not concerned about a wider outbreak, while linebacker DeMarvion Overshown expressed hope he could return from a hamstring injury.
