No. 11 Utah Holds Off Colorado, Wins 27-24
No. 11 Utah beat Colorado 27-24 in Boulder, improving to 6-0 and extending its recent dominance in the rivalry. Colorado fell to 2-4 after rallying from a 13-point halftime deficit and briefly taking the lead with a 17-point third quarter. Ja’Quail Smith sparked the comeback with a 68-yard touchdown reception, but quarterback Isaac Wilson threw two interceptions, and 10 penalties and other costly mistakes helped Utah hold on. Colorado will face No. 18 Oklahoma State next, with its bowl prospects increasingly at risk.
