Brewers Fans Seek Tickets for Possible World Series
With Milwaukee leading the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-0 in the National League Championship Series, Brewers fans sought tickets Thursday for a possible World Series appearance, the team’s first since 1982. Wisconsin residents received presale access at 10 a.m., followed by public sales at 2 p.m.; tickets were first-come, first-served, with the team warning that supply was extremely limited. Fans reported long waits and steep prices, with some stadium seats listed for about $850 to $1,500 and online standing-room options for $800 to $1,000. Tickets were available online, by phone and at the American Family Field box office, while supplies lasted, and fans were encouraged to buy parking in advance. If Milwaukee advances, it would host Games 1 and 2 and, if needed, Games 6 and 7; the team said tickets for games not played would be refunded.
