Nixon Returns to Packers Practice Thursday
Packers starting cornerback Keisean Nixon returned to practice Thursday on a limited basis after sitting out Wednesday with a groin issue that coach Matt LaFleur described as precautionary, easing concerns ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Cowboys. Green Bay remains short-handed: Skyy Moore (ankle), Benjamin St-Juste (hamstring) and Jonathan Ford (calf) missed a second straight practice, while defensive lineman Javon Hargrave is expected to go on injured reserve with a torn Achilles. Moore could miss multiple weeks, and the absences of St-Juste and Ford put their availability for Sunday in doubt. The Packers may need to add a receiver and can use open roster spots and practice-squad elevations to cover for unavailable players.
