Shedeur Sanders Hires Agent Amid Browns Trade Rumors

Shedeur Sanders hired agent Adie von Gontard of Young Money APAA Sports, who also represents his former Colorado teammate Travis Hunter, after starting his NFL career without an agent. The move has fueled speculation that Sanders could seek a trade from Cleveland after losing the starting job to Deshaun Watson and playing only one snap this season. The Browns are reportedly expected to stick with Watson while they remain competitive, leaving Sanders with limited immediate opportunity as the team balances playoff ambitions with his development. A trade is possible but unconfirmed: Sanders remains valuable as injury insurance, and Cleveland would likely need an appealing offer to move him. Sanders has not confirmed requesting a trade, and the Browns have not confirmed shopping him; the agent hire could also serve routine professional needs.
