Alabama Acts Against Fan Who Shoved Georgia Linebacker

Alabama said it identified and took appropriate action against a fan seen heckling and shoving Georgia linebacker Raylen Wilson after Georgia’s 20-17 win at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The video showed the man striking Wilson’s helmet and pushing him while telling him to leave; Wilson did not retaliate. Georgia coach Kirby Smart praised Wilson’s response and condemned the fan’s conduct. Alabama also said it would not tolerate the behavior, amid reports that some attendees threw bottles and cans onto the field after the game.
