Madueke's late winner lifts Arsenal to second with 1-0 Forest victory
Noni Madueke came off the bench at halftime and scored a deflected late winner as Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground. Arsenal struggled to create chances and did not register a shot on target until Madueke’s goal, but the win extended their run to three victories since their loss to Brighton and lifted them to second, three points behind Manchester City. Forest defended resolutely but missed late chances, suffered a third straight league defeat and remained in the relegation zone; they have yet to score at home under manager Oliver Glasner.
