Boston Common Golf acquired Shane Lowry from The Bay Golf Club in TGL’s first trade, bringing the 2019 Open champion together with longtime friend Rory McIlroy. The Bay receives Boston’s fourth selection in the current roster process, a future selection, and commercial considerations. The move comes as TGL expands rosters to five players for the 2027 season; Lowry and McIlroy have previously won together at the Zurich Classic and helped Europe win the 2025 Ryder Cup.
